Micah Barry

MJB PortraitMr. Micah Barry is an associate attorney at The Kirby G. Smith Law Firm. Mr. Barry developed a physical disability during his undergraduate studies, which he entered at age 15. As a result of this disability, he lost his job, lost years of his academic career, and was forced to fight inaccessibility with major institutions. His passion for representing others in discrimination and retaliation claims is driven by real-world experience and led him to accept a position with The Kirby G. Smith Law Firm. He now takes all his experience as a litigator and provides it to anyone from blue-collar construction workers and security guards to white-collar executives with Fortune 50 companies.

During his time in law school, Mr. Barry was a teaching assistant and was hired as a research assistant. Mr. Barry served on his school’s law review, where he wrote an article that was chosen for publication. Mr. Barry also served as a guest speaker on disability rights law for the Toledo branch of the Law and Leadership Institute of Ohio.

Mr. Barry is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia after law school to be with family.
